About me

I come from Romania and have been living in Berlin for 12 years. I offer a wide range of soft skills that I have developed in different work environments.

By working as an au pair, in the restaurant business, and as a salesperson, I have learned to communicate in multicultural teams, coordinate employees, and, above all, complete tasks on my own initiative. I have learned not to collapse under stress and time pressure so that projects can be completed on time. Due to my customer service activities, I understood that the most important aspect of any company is sincere care for the customer.

I created my first graphics for social advertising for Coliana Boutique and immediately fell in love with the world of design and decided to change my career path. A few months later, I started the Career Foundry's UX design course which taught me the principles of design and the steps in the UX process and helped me develop a critical thinking approach.

Since completing the course, I've been working as a freelancer in graphic design for various startups and agencies and have consequently deepened my knowledge of industry-standard tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects.

 

As a freelancer, I have the opportunity to work closely with the advertising team and, in particular, to learn marketing concepts for acquiring new customers (social media advertising). This enables me to understand how my designs can influence the user and ultimately the conversion rate.
